Mass transfer in single phase flow through fixed and fluidised beds

Abstract

The analysis of the mass transfer mechanism in single phase flow through fixed and fluidised beds is based on the formely published theoretical model and experimental data from literature. The data in the range 5 < Re < 15 000, 0.6 < Sc < 13 000 and 0.35 ⪬ e ⪬ 0.94 have been used. The resulting relations are presented.
