9. A search in the Cambridge Structural Database, version 5.30 of November 2008 resulted in 20 crystal structures containing 24 crystallographically independent [Ru2(μ-CO2)2(CO)4L2] moieties, where L is any phosphine, showing the Ru–Ru distances in the range 2.716–2.760 Å. The deposition codes are as follows: ACBRUA10, BURPRU, KEHZIH, KEHZON, MUBTAE, MUBTEI, NIMZUE, QATMII, SEDKOB, UKADOZ, UKADUF, VISMAM, VISMEQ, WATFAY, WATFEC, WATFIG, YEDCOA, ZERROD, ZERRUJ, ZERSAQ.
