Abstract

(Dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocene (HFcR, R = CH2NMe2) reacts with Mo(CO)6 and W(CO)6 under substitution of one CO group and formation of the donor-acceptor complexes of the formula HFcR·M(CO)5 (M = Mo, W). These yellow microcrystalline derivatives were characterized by mass, UV-VIS, IR, NMR and Mössbauer spectroscopy.
