Synthesis of Thioxanthenyl Substituted Heterocycles with Potential Molluscicidal and Nematocidal Activity

Abstract

The reaction of thioxanthen-9-ol with nucleophiles such as pyrazoles, succinamide, phthalimide and aminotriazoles was investigated. In the reactions, thioxanthen-9-yl is introduced in the 4-position of pyrazoles, on nitrogen in the carboximides and on amino group of aminotriazoles. The synthesized compounds were tested for molluscidal and nematocidal activity.
