Abstract

A study was carried out of the effect of an anionogenic and cationogenic tenside on the dissociation of azure B. It was found that, in the presence of sodium lauryl sulfate, the pH value of the solution affects both the dissociation and the ratio of the contents of the monomer, dimer and higher aggregates of the dye at various concentrations of the tenside. The dependences of pKa on the concentration of the given kind of tenside and its variation in the presence of an inorganic salt (NaNO3) were found.
