Estimation of the standard G-functions of substances in the ideal-gas state by the Benson method

Abstract

The Benson method used to estimate thermodynamic properties of substances in the ideal-gas state is modified for calculating the standard G-functions (G0-H0298)/T. The estimation method is verified using a set of 342 organic compounds.
