Abstract

The copper(I) complexes of o-tolyl-, phenyl-, o-anisyl- and o-chlorophenyl thiourea have been prepared. The IR, NMR and thermal analysis of these complexes has shown that the coordination occurs through the nitrogen atom of the NH2 group except in the case of o-tolyl thiourea complex where it is through the substituted nitrogen atom. The complexes are either monomeric or dimeric in nature.
