Abstract

Spectrophotometric methods for determining Be(II) with Chromazurol S, Eriochromcyanine R and Eriochromazurol B in the presence of cationic and nonionic tensides were compared using the basic optical and statistical parameters. A rapid and sensitive method was developed for determining Be(II) using the Be(II)-Eriochromcyanine R-Septonex system in 0.1M pyridine or urotropine buffer of pH = 6.0 ± 0.1 with a molar absorption coefficient of 8.3 . 104 mmol-1.cm2 at 590 nm.
