Abstract

The possibility of the extension of the scaled particle theory to nonelectrolytes moderately soluble in water and to aqueous electrolytes of various concentrations containing combinations of H+, K+, Na+, NH+4, Mg2+, OH-, Cl-, Br-, and SO2-4 ions was verified. Cyclohexanone, n-hexanol and benzene served as nonelectrolytes. The elaborated mathematical model was tested on the basis of experimental data published earlier.
