Abstract
A series couplers have been prepared on the basis of 4,4-dimethyl-3-oxo-N-phenylpentaneamide. Some of them have been converted into the respective azomethine dyestuffs the absorption maxima of which have been compared with those of the corresponding couplers based on 3-oxo-3,N-diphenylpropaneamide.
